Maritime Day, Dinner & Remembrance

National Maritime Day is a very special day for the maritime community.  It was set-aside for this National Honor as it is the date that the American Steamship Savannah, under the command of Captain Moses Rogers, sailed from Savannah, Georgia to Liverpool, England in 1819.

Maritime  Day is when we come together to honor our fallen Merchant Mariners, recognize those in our maritime community who have made major professional contributions, and announced our scholarship recipients.
